Abstract
In order to cope with the energy crisis and the environmental problems, the restructuring of China's energy institutions has become imminent. This study measured the spatial pattern of green energy utilization in China and explored the influencing factors with spatial econometric models. The results are demonstrated below. 1. The level of green energy utilization in China shows a growing trend, but a nationwide spatial correlation has not yet been formed. 2. Green energy utilization in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region has been influenced by each other. 3. Green energy use is mainly influenced by regional innovation capacity and industrial structure. The results of this study will help China to optimize the existing spatial pattern of energy use.
