We introduce a robust watermarking method to efficiently embed multiple marks into ECG signals using redundant discrete wavelet transform and generalized singular value decomposition. Multiple marks are embedded within the signal to eliminate any ownership conflict and provide copyright protection. The hybrid optimization technique is also used to balance the invisibility and robustness. Further, wavelet-based compression is adopted to compress the marked signal before transmission reduces the bandwidth demand. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, the standard ECG dataset is used. The proposed algorithm yields very good invisibility and robustness against several attacks, and it is also suitable for applications in the cloud.
