SC573: Introduction to Optoelectronics in Homeland Security
This course provides attendees with an overview of optoelectronic technologies that are being used in Homeland Security and some of the potential opportunities for future research and development. Optical/laser sensors and optoelectronic systems related to biological and chemical sensing, optical/IR surveillance, secure identification and communication links, and decontamination guidance will be covered.
