Wei E.I. Sha is currently a tenured Associate Professor at the College of Information Science & Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China.
His research interests include theoretical and computational research in electromagnetics and optics, focusing on the multiphysics and interdisciplinary research. His research involves fundamental and applied aspects in computational and applied electromagnetics, nonlinear and quantum electromagnetics, micro- and nano-optics, optoelectronic device simulation, and multiphysics modeling. In 2015, he was awarded Second Prize of Science and Technology from Anhui Province Government, China. In 2017, he was awarded the Thousand Talents Program for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. He was the recipient of ACES-China Electromagnetics Education Ambassador Award 2024, ACES Technical Achievement Award 2022 and PIERS Young Scientist Award 2021.
