Better ways of detection of Human Imunodeficiency Viruses (HIV) have been a longstanding goal for scientists. This work proposes an electrochemical biosensor specialized on the detection of reverse transcriptase of HIV which can both ascertain HIV-1 and 2 in one time. The reverse transcriptase has been used in many kinds of detections of HIV, but the biosensor is a new solution. This biosensor is predicted to be ultra-sensitive, relatively low cost, reducing the “window period”, labor saving, and reusable. These predicted data exceeded the most efficient HIV detection method on the market now. By proposing this biosensor, and crafting it in the future, the clinical diagnosis of HIV patients and the exploration into the electrochemical biosensor.
