Siddharth Maharana is an astrophysics Ph.D. student at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy & Astrophysics, Pune, India. He received his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Central University, Bilaspur, India in 2015. He is currently working on the design and development of the WALOP instruments for the PASIPHAE survey. His areas of interest are polarimetric instrumentation and polarimetric observations and data analysis. His skills include optical, optomechanical design, polarimetric modeling, and characterization of instruments.
