Abstract

Several basic types of calculations are frequently used in the radiometric modeling and simulation of electro-optical systems. These recurring calculations can be implemented in an environment where the designer can concentrate on the problem rather than on the coding of trivial algorithms. Data visualization is a vital verification method, and all results should ideally be plotted or otherwise graphically displayed. Such a calculation and visualization environment greatly increases the productivity and total throughput of the designer.
