Abstract
The development of reconfigurable metalenses is crucial for various applications including scanning microscopy and 3D imaging. While the focal length of most metalenses is fixed once they are fabricated, realizing dynamically-tunable metalenses can save costs and provide greater flexibility. In this study, an interleaved metasurface was designed to achieve continuous focal length tunability in the visible window. The results showed that the proposed metalens can effectively alter the focal length, offering a promising avenue for developing more versatile and adaptable optical devices.
