Abstract
Based on in-depth study of the existing intrusion detection and data mining technologies, for the lack of current association rule algorithms, this paper presents an improved association rule extraction algorithm. The algorithm reduces the number of scans to the database and solves the problem that the operational time significantly increases with the length of frequent item. Experimental results show that it can greatly improve the detection accuracy and timeliness of intrusion detection system.
