Abstract
A very important issue in executing a scientific workflow in optical grid is how to map the workflow tasks onto multiple distributed resources. In this paper, we propose a new cost-based workflow scheduling algorithm (MCBS) which tries to minimize the cost of the workflow execution while meeting the deadline defined by users. The simulation results prove the efficiency of the MCBS algorithm.
