Abstract
A novel and practical compressive sampling system is proposed based on optical mixing and direct detection and our system is established with a multi-wavelength source, two intensity modulators, an electric M-sequence generator, and multiple photodetectors. In experiment, a compressive sampling system of two channels is set up, which is firstly reported, and the predefined signal including two narrow-band components is recovered successfully for 2.55GHz bandwidth.
