Abstract
The results of experimental investigation of light induced absorption in Bi12TiO20 single crystals with different stoichiometric composition are presented. We study the dynamic of the changes in absorption coefficient of Bi12TiO20 single crystals grown from different melt composition for the incoherent light with the wavelength of λ ≈ 660 nm. It was shown that the change in light absorption reaches the values of ~ 0.4 cm-1 in the crystal containing 7.5 mol.% TiO2 in the start melt composition.
