Abstract
In this paper, a new independent component analysis (ICA) method is proposed that makes use of the higher order statistics. We name it joint cumulant ICA (JC-ICA) algorithm. It can be implemented efficiently by a neural network. Its applications in AVIRIS data and change detection are discussed. The results show the potential usage in image processing problems.
