Abstract
A modern stage of mankind development features rapid development of facilities for the visual information display. Continuously characteristics of the most widespread visualization - a CRT occupied a solid position in every family. Possibilities and applications of the LCD, electroluminescent, plasma and other types of the flat displays are increasing. The current state and trends for development of the plasma display panels in Russia are considered.
