Abstract
The dependence of output parameters of a Ti3+:Al2O3 tunable laser (an efficiency, build-up time, jitter, etc.) on the temporal delay between pump pulses of a Q- Switched double pulse Nd3+:YAG laser has been investigated. The advantages of double pulse pumping of the Ti:Sapphire oscillator has been demonstrated, experimentally. New methods of output characteristics control for tunable Ti:Sapphire lasers have been proposed.
