Abstract
The vibrational distribution function (VDF) of CO molecules in the mixture with helium decreases rapidly for vibrational levels higher than 1 1 . The VDF plateau may be significantly increased by addition of nitrogen or Xe. There is a strong correlation between VDF and concentrations of plasma-chemical products in the mixture.
