Abstract
The use of Hough Transform in image processing is generally restricted to alignment detection. This paper presents different links between HT and the study of convex shapes. It uses classical HT, and as well, equivalent transforms. Various applications are given: symmetry functions, perimeter evaluation, etc. Radon Transform is shown to be a convenient generalization framework.
