Abstract
The quasi-optics eigenmodesof the waveguide resonator for freeelectron laser (FEL)1 are consideredin this paper. The model of thefree electron laser optical system isa waveguide resonator consisting ofa uniform waveguide of a 2a in di- ameter and 2D in length and mir- rors with curvature radii 1:11 and R2which are placed at distances of LI.and L2 from the origin of coordi- nates (see Fig. 1). We consider thesystem whose dimensions are muchlonger than the wavelength A and aparabolic equation can be used forthe description of fields.
