Abstract
Today most of the flexible polyurethane foams are produced with the inclusion of silicone surfactants. To study the functions of surfactant, a large number of foams were produced with the use of various surfactants. ATR spectra of the stable foam were recorded. Reactions of the stable foam were monitored by mid-infrared fiber probes. In addition, physical properties of the produced foams were measured.
