Abstract
The chromatic blurring in the recording of the joint power spectrum in the first stage of a white-light joint transform correlator experiment can be avoided by using an achromatic Fourier transformer. In this way, we propose a novel colour pattern recognition technique that is based on an achromatic joint transform correlator architecture. Experimental results of our procedure are also shown.
