Abstract
A high -pollwer gyrotroIT oscillator have been investigated for use as the radiation source of an EM wiggler by means of nonlinpar, theory and numerical simulation. Its some features are presented in this paper. Polarizability of ex- cited RF field is dependent on coupling coefficient of beam -wave interaction. Gyrating electron beam interact sub- stantially with cyclotron resonant harmonics in same rotation direction whether azimuthal standing structure or az- imuthal travelling waves. Bunching center of electron beam of two azimuthal travelling waves is rr out of phase. Fre- quency stability was also discussed. Taking TE±i3 mode for example, computational results are given.
