Abstract
At short millimeter or submillimeter wavelengths, the usual requirement of coRC3-4 for SIS junctions leads to submicron structures that cause considerable difficulties in fabrication. Compensation for the large capacitance of the Nb-junctions (60-100 fF/i_tm2) by an open circuited or short circuited transmission line or by an inductor is possible but leads to a resonant response. The material properties of the superconducting
