Abstract

U.S. Tactical Reconnaissance capability is at its lowest level in thirty years and getting worse. The paper deals with some of the recent history leading up to the present situation. It then discusses the current status and outlines some of the causes for the decline. The future is postulated and the initial steps to reduce the declining trend are presented.
