Abstract
Frequency Diverse Array (FDA) provides pattern with range-angle-dependent beam by transmitting waveforms with tiny frequency difference. It is capable to contain both of the advantages by combining MIMO radar with FDA. At the transmit ends, the waveforms transmitted by the array elements are orthogonal with each other, meaning that the coherent integration is non-existent, and the jammer is hard to capture all the signals and transport them at the same time. At the receive ends, it is capable to get equivalent range-angle-dependent pattern through matched filters. Furthermore, adaptive beam forming algorithm is used to form null to restrain jamming. Simulations prove that the established system has effectiveness to suppress range deception jamming.
