Abstract
This paper analyzes the differences between WLTC and CLTC-P operating conditions from the perspective of cyclical energy demand. Based on GB/T 19753-2021,a popular PHEV model available in the market underwent a test of energy consumption at room temperature. The test results indicate that operating mode switching can lead to changes in the termination conditions of the PHEV's energy consumption mode (when the relative electric energy change,REECc,is less than 0.04). If the existing standard's termination criteria for energy consumption mode are applied, transitioning from WLTC to CLTC-P conditions results in an inability to achieve balance in electric energy consumption. This would prevent subsequent energy consumption calculations. Therefore, based on the observed electric energy change pattern during the CD stage of the experimental process, this paper adjusted the setting of the equilibrium point after operating mode switching. This adjustment provides theoretical support for the incorporation of CLTC-P conditions into the standard.
