Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency of remote sensing satellite, with the limited performance of the existing optical remote sensing payload, a satellite constellation construction idea combining with the low and high resolution is proposed. The working mode of the narrow-area high-resolution satellite is guided by the pre-processed information on the wide-area low-resolution satellite. Full using of the onboard memory and the pre-installed base map, the satellites only transmit changes and self-update, effectively reduce the transmission pressure of remote sensing data. The on-board processing capacity is used to judge cloud images, generate guidance information, guiding narrow-domain high-resolution satellites to effectively photograph specific areas, and cooperate with SAR remote sensing satellites to achieve continuous and effective observation of specific regions. The proposed idea of cloud judgment guidance and regional coding can improve the observation efficiency, and provide value for future applications of on-board target recognition and communication between satellites.
