Abstract
We explored the incorporated control method, which consists of repetitive control and fuzzy PID control, to tackle the problem of the prolonged transient period of the conventional PID feedback circuitry. With a Simulink model of the inverter circuit, we implement the two control schemes and evaluate the controller performances by introducing possible disturbance, a surge current or rectifier loading, at the load side. By comparing the output waveforms between our proposed control strategy and conventional PID control, our incorporated control method is favored due to the advantages of a smaller total harmonic distortion rate and a shorter regulation period.
