Abstract
Based on the actual engineering perspective, this paper presents the site of pumped storage power plants, which is determined by collecting and processing elevation data, river system data, road data, meteorological data, building a river system model, optimizing the dam axis model, calculating indexes and matching upper and lower reservoirs to propose a site for pumped storage power plants. We have constructed a comprehensive evaluation system to determine the location of pumped storage plants, wind farms, and photovoltaic plants to provide reference suggestions and research ideas for the initial selection of a new energy base that integrates wind and storage.
