Abstract
This paper studies the solution of FAST ideal paraboloid equation. Firstly, the problem is simplified from threedimensional to two-dimensional, and the problem is transformed into the solution of ideal parabolic equation; Considering the adjustment of reflective panel, the difference method and variable step iterative method are used to solve the model. For the ideal paraboloid equation obtained by different objective functions, the radial expansion amount, meridional variation and edge smoothness of main cable nodes with different ideal paraboloids are calculated. The three indexes are analyzed. When the average displacement of meridian main cable nodes is minimized as the objective function, the effect of the ideal parabola is the best. Then, the coordinate system is established to simplify the form of ideal paraboloid equation, and the ideal paraboloid equation is transformed into a global coordinate system by coordinate transformation. The distance between the main cable node and the parabola vertex is used to classify the nodes, and the main cable node in the lighting area is selected. Finally, a follow-up coordinate system is established to make the main cable node move to the ideal paraboloid in the lighting area, calculate the distance from the main cable node to the spherical center of the reference ball after adjustment, and then obtain the expansion and contraction of the corresponding actuator, and check whether the change range of the distance between adjacent nodes exceeds 0.07%.
