Abstract
We have developed a field ready, fiber based snapshot imaging spectrometer for environmental monitoring and smart farming. The snapshot nature of the system enables monitoring of dynamic scenes without artifacts and portable, ruggedized opto-mechanics allows imaging from an airborne platform. We present hyperspectral imaging results of water stress observations in a laboratory experiment, field observation of sorghum under different growth conditions, and from an engineering flight.
