Abstract
Airborne weather radar is a device used for real-time detection of dangerous weather areas on the forward route, selecting safe routes, and ensuring the comfort and safety of the flight during the flight of the aircraft. The weather radar can detect precipitation and turbulence on the route ahead of the aircraft, as well as the terrain conditions in front of and below the aircraft. The new weather radar system also has the function of predicting windshear, making the aircraft safer during takeoff and landing. Based on the current development status of my country's civil aviation passenger aircraft, this paper analyzes the QAR flight data to verify the relationship between the predictive windshear warning logic and wind speed and direction. Scenario analysis was carried out for false alarms and looks forward to the development trend of weather radar predictive windshear function in civil aviation safety applications.
