Abstract
With the rapid economic development of China, the demand for electricity from industry and residents continues to increase. The state vigorously develops basic work related to power operation and maintenance. But the question is how to effectively troubleshoot faults in the face of China's complex geographic environment. It is the key to improving the efficiency of power transmission. To improve the overall effect and level of the power system, it is necessary to pay attention to the development and maintenance of the power operation and maintenance system, and to continuously optimize and improve the communication transmission technology and positioning technology, in which the intelligent operation and maintenance system of the transmission line play an important role. This paper studies the communication and fault location technologies of the intelligent operation and maintenance system in the transmission line, analyzes the current status and existing problems of the current transmission line operation and maintenance system, and further points out that it is to meet the needs of smart grid transmission line operation and maintenance.
