Abstract
The calculation of the phase transmission function of the computer generated optical element, forming the reference wave front with demanded form is described. The spectral properties of the thin phase compensators are analysed, the characteristics of accuracy of reference wave front obtained are introduced. The theoretical evaluation of the phase quantization and discretization influence on the accuracy of creating wave front had have been made. It is reported about the generating and investigating of the axis-symmetrical and non-axis-symmetrical compensators.
