Abstract
This paper reports a zigzag-pump polygon amplifier and has more detailed simulation about it. Study on the pump light distribution in the gain medium with different side cut angle and doping parameters. Through the optimization of laser system parameters, a nearly uniform flat-top energy storage distribution is obtained through simulations. In addition, we have some preliminary simulations analysis of the thermal effect of the medium. This paper provides many references for the design and experiment of zigzag-pumping laser system.
