Abstract
The concept of videoconferencing is not new or even recent. As early as 1930 a two-way videotelephone system [1] between Bell Labs and AT&T headquarters in New York city was de-monstrated. After a lull, came the Picturephone [2] idea. The introduction was a big ac-commplishment for the researchers [3,4] and excitement for the public. For some reason or the other it did not come into the limelight in the market.
