Abstract
In this paper we overview the methods and optical systems which aim at real time identification of micro/nano biological organisms using three-dimensional (3D) images reconstructed from partially temporal incoherent light in-line digital holograms. This methodology can provide non-invasive 3D identification of micro/nano biological organisms using statistical pattern recognition algorithms. We demonstrate the performance of our presented techniques with experimental results.
